Basic AGM Information

Once a year, MacDuff’s gather from across the country for a weekend of fun and friendship, and to conduct Clan business. This is called our Annual General Meeting, or AGM. For several years we have been moving the AGM across the country and into different Regions so that more members have the opportunity to attend and participate. Some members attend year after year - once bitten by the AGM bug. It's always fun to meet new people and make new friends. An AGM is something that every Clan MacDuff member should try to attend at some point. You will never forget the experience!

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

March 2nd - 4th 2012

 

 

The 2012 Clan MacDuff Annual General Meeting will be held during the North Texas Irish Festival (NTIF), in Fair Park, Dallas, TX on March 2nd - 4th 2012.

There will be a Board (Clan Council) Meeting on Friday March 2, 2012, with the AGM will be held Saturday afternoon, March 3, 2012.

 

A semi-formal (Business Casual) banquet will be held Saturday evening.

·         Call the local number shown above. When connected to reservations desk, ask for the "North Texas Irish Festival" rates (shown below).

·         Online, use the Group Reservations link from the North Texas Irish Festival Accommodation page.

Rooms are blocked off for March 1 - 4, 2012 and have been told they are for 2 double beds or 1 king size bed.

 

Rates are:

 

$85.00 plus 13% tax if reserved during January 2012

 

$89.00 plus 13% tax if reserved after February 1, 2012

 

This information provided has just been completed and has not been released to the public yet so I encourage everyone to make reservations now. Blocked rooms fill up fast and hotel fills up fast. Last year the NTIF had to add an alternate host hotel as a goodwill gesture to help accommodate participants and guests.
